Specimen Requirements

Submit the following specimen:
 
Container/Tube: Pink top tube (EDTA K2 anticoagulant)

Minimum Draw Volume: Full 6 mL tube preferred

Additional Instructions:

Preop “PRBC Product” or Preop “Type and Antibody Screen”

 

Must be drawn no sooner than 3 days before procedure (collection day = day 0).  Requirement is a government-issued photo ID.
