Specimen Requirements

Submit the following specimen:

 

Specimen Type:  Whole blood

Container/Tube:  Lavender top (EDTA) or lavender-top (EDTA) MICROTAINER

Specimen Volume: 3.0 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume:  1.0 mL in 3.0 mL lavender-top (EDTA) tube/0.7 mL in MICROTAINER

Collection Instructions:

Immediately after collection invert tube several times to mix blood.
