Interpretive Guidelines:  Bilirubin JP drain
There are no established reference ranges for bilirubin levels from Jackson Pratt drains.  However, recent studies suggest that a ratio of Jackson Pratt bilirubin concentration to serum bilirubin concentration greater than 5.0 is indicative of a bile leak.
