Reference Range

Duffy associated neutrophil count should be suspected in patients of African, Middle Eastern and West Indian descent with a  Duffy (a-, b-) phenotype and a persistent absolute neutrophil count between 1000 and 1500 /μL in the absence of splenomegaly, lymphadenopathy, cytopenia and secondary causes of neutropenia.  Such individuals do not have increased risk of infection or other clinical manifestations.
