Specimen Type:  Stool

Unacceptable Specimens:  Fecal specimens in Formalin-based or alcohol-based (PVA) fixatives

Sample Minimum Volume:

Liquid/Semi-Solid specimen:  25 µL
Formed/Solid specimens:  Approximately 2 mm diameter portion (equivalent of 25 µL)
Specimen in Cary Blair or C&S transport media:  100 µL
