Reference Range

Reference Range: Negative (Reported as Negative or Positive*)
*If IgG Spike Positive, Semi-quantitative Index Value provided

Target

IgM Spike

Results are for the detection of SARS CoV-2 IgM antibodies to the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, indicating recent or prior infection and should be used in conjunction with other data; e.g., symptoms, results of other tests, and clinical impressions.

IgG Nucleocapsid

Results are for the detection of SARS CoV-2 IgG antibodies to the nucleocapsid protein of SARS-CoV-2, indicating recent or prior infection and should be used in conjunction with other data; e.g., symptoms, results of other tests, and clinical impressions.

IgG Spike

NEGATIVE:

No IgG antibodies to SARS-COV-2 spike glycoprotein detected. A negative result can occur if the quantity of antibodies in the specimen is below the detection limits of the assay, or if the antibodies are not present during the stage of disease in which a sample is collected.

POSITIVE:

IgG antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein detected. These results suggest recent or prior SARS-COV-2 infection and/or vaccination. No minimum antibody level or threshold has been established to indicate long-term protective immunity against re-infection.
