ENA Screen IgG

Reference Ranges:

<0.7    = Negative
0.7-1.0 = Equivocal
>1.0    = Positive

SymphonyS - ENA screen is based on recombinant U1-RNP (RNP 70, A, C), SS-A/Ro (52 kDa, 60 kDa), SS-B/La, Jo-1, Scl-70, Centromere B proteins and a synthetic SmD3 peptide as antigen and is useful as an aid in the clinical diagnosis of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD), Sjogrens syndrome, scleroderma and polymyositis/dermatomyositis, in conjunction with other laboratory and clinical findings.

DNA DS Ab IgG

Reference Ranges:

<10   = Negative
10-15 = Equivocal
>15   = Positive

dsDNA - Positivity for anti-double stranded DNA (anti-dsDNA) IgG antibody is a diagnostic criterion of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). dsDNA antibodies (1:10 or greater) are found in 50-60 percent of SLE, 20-30 percent in Sjogren syndrome, 20-25 percent in mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD), and less than 5 percent in progressive systemic sclerosis (PSS). High titers of antibody to native (double stranded) DNA are specific for SLE.

Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibody

Reference Ranges:

<7   = Negative
7-10 = Equivocal
>10  = Positive

CCP2 - Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP), IgG antibodies are present in about 69-83 percent of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have specificities of 93-95 percent. The combination fo RF IgM and IgA plus IgG anti-CCP2 has been proposed to have a PPV close to 100%

Ribosome Ab

Reference Ranges:

<7   = Negative
7-10 = Equivocal
>10  = Positive

All testing performed on the Phadia 250 analyzer using Fluorescence Enzyme Immunoassay technology.
